Hey! I was wondering what a good romantic book would be. Got any ideas? Don’t say Nicholas Sparks books. Thanks

Romance Novel Baseball

August 25th, 2011

romance novel baseball
Im writing a romance novel with a hero who is a famous athlete, vote for which sport he should play?

I cant decide which one he should play.

A. soccer (football)
b. baseball

Depends on two things, 1 – what country is the book set in? 2 – Is he actually famous, as in generally recognizable?

If your book is set in the US and the athlete is suppose to be actually famous (do you have a scene or scenes where he is recognized by strangers on the street) – go with baseball. It’s unrealistic to think most Americans would recognize a famous soccer player unless it’s David Beckham. If it’s any other country go with soccer.

If he’s just an athlete and you don’t have any real allusions to him being famous and recognized, go with the sport you know the most about and can describe the most accurately.

how to get any girl to want you
Im 5’6″, 165 lbs, and want to be thin?

Ok first off, i dont look that fat. I mean, i got some belly, but people never say im fat-fat. Oh and im 16, today is actually my birthday haha. I want to be “emo” thin, like really thin as most “emo” girls are. How much do you think an “emo” girl should weigh at my height? And any recommendations on how to lose the weight to be “emo” thin? Its ok if the answer is to starve myself haha xD

And i look the part for “emo.” I don’t classify myself, but i dress the way an “emo/scene” person does.

well starving youself will actually cause bloating so don’t do that. your height/weight ratio is pretty healthy. but if you really want to get skinnier talk to a doctor. thousands of teens get really sick trying to loose weight.

Cute romantic teen books?

Ok so I’m looking for a really good book or book series to read. I’m 15 and I really like Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, The Summer I turned Pretty and Its not Summer without you by Jenny Han, Before I Go by Riley Weston and The Last Sing by Nicholas Sparks. Just to name a few. I don’t want to read any Vampire books or Harry Potter. I’m just looking for something cute and romantic :) any help would be amazing!

There is the “The Immortal Instruments” by Classandra Clare series which is really good has lots of forbidden romance and love triangles. It a nice package of love, comedy, action.
Also there is “Hush,Hush” by Becca Fitzpatrcik series. Is about fallen angels and a really super cute love story.
And another good one is “Fallen” by Lauren Kate series. Again about fallen angels and a really cute love series and love triangle.
I would rate “The Immortal Instruments” 5 stars “Hush,Hush” 4 1/2 stars and “Fallen” 3 stars

Romantic Books Classic

Suggested Books To Read?

I’ve become more of an avid reader these days and would like some new titles and/or series to look into. Currently these past few months I have read: A Clockwork Orange, The Odyssey, Great Gatsby, The Metamorphis, Dracula (as well as Dracula: The Undead by Dacre Stoker), 1984, Frankenstein, As I Lay Dying, Leaves of Grass, Lord of the Rings, and much more.

I like classic books with a good plot, not too boring; but not god offly long. Sci-fi, fantasy, drama, teen. Whatever it may be.

Nothing too girly or romantic. and something with a good storyline and/or series.
it doesnt have to be just fantasy.

I also enjoy war novels. If anything follows a group of recruits and such like the movies: Tigerland, and Saving Private Ryan that’ll be sure to win me over.

Also I enjoy anything with Zombies.

At this point anything will do =)

Expect: Romance, Drama, Fashion, History, Fantasy, Classics, Non-Fiction, Fiction, Suspense
