I need to book and author suggestions?
I need suggestions on new books to read, to try new authors. Well My favorite authors are Mary Higgins Clark, Nicholas Sparks Picoult I like a variety of books, but no more than your average thriller fiction Jodi. I like romantic stories, but not trash romance novels. I love history and historical fiction, travel stories, biographies and autobiographies of famous people (according to WHO). Fiction based on real events. On the other hand, I like novels for young adults, too, people Like Harry Potter, and traveling girls jeans, The House on the Prairie, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, things like that. One of my favorite books is Stephen King's position, although I do not like it, because I do not like horror. I also read things like Sherlock Holmes, and all Lord of the Rings books. So you can see, my tastes are varied. Suggestions?? Thank you.
Read The Three Musketeers and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. They are awesome!

Any good books or authors for teen girls?
Im a teen girl and im looking for a good books or authors!!! romantic, , comedy, or whatever!!! plz help
thx in advance!
i already read the whole twilight saga!
Ashes by Stefanie Ellis:
Sidney Fox was your average seventeen-year-old girl. She looked like everyone else, dressed like everyone else, harbored hopes and dreams…you guessed it, just like everyone else.
After a long and uneventful winter break, Sidney returned to the stale hallways and cranky teachers to find a new addition: a mysterious new student named Cael, he seemed to immediately fall into the role of the most popular person to ever step foot on campus. At first, Sidney was repulsed by the gaggle of girls that hung on his every word, that is, until he explained that he can’t control the attraction others have for him, it’s just one thing out of many that he is just as confused about as she is. Cael knows what he is, but he has no idea how or why. Their search for answers sends them across the world and forces them to go to extreme measures in order to get those answers.
City of Dreams by Stefanie Ellis:
Sky is a confused, over-analyzing twenty-five-year old. She escapes a small town and a bad relationship to wind up in New York City. There she hopes to start over fresh, and become someone new. Instead, she stumbles across a man who she hasn’t seen for many years, but never stopped thinking about, only to find that he’s become a powerful figure in the world of entertainment. Has he changed?
Has she? Only time will tell.

Can you suggest a new author or book for me, based on my favorites?
I’m going to the book store today to buy a new book, but I’m stuck in a rut of reading the same authors. I want to branch out, but I’m not sure what to get. Can you help me?
My favorite authors are Haruki Murakami and Philip K. Dick. My favorite books by them are Kafka on the Shore and Valis, respectively. I like novels that are slightly science fiction, but I don’t like wizards, trolls, or elaborate descriptions of star fleets and alien races. If you’re not quite sure whether the book would be shelved in the sci-fi section or the literature section, that’s the kind of book I’m looking for.
I’m also a sucker for romantic plot lines (e.g. The Time Traveler’s Wife), and I like philosophical themes, such as in Brave New World or my favorites listed above.
Can anyone suggest a good book for me to buy? Best answer will be awarded to the person whose book I actually choose to read.
A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller, Jr, a sci-fi classic about the destruction of the world and it’s re-building after nuclear holocaust. I loved it for its humor and that the human race will never change unless it really changes. (If you read the book you’ll understand.)
Also, The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula Le Guin, a story about a man with a special gift of effective dreaming, the ability to create alternative realities, and a maniac shrink who uses these powers to create utopias that always spiral into hells.
Oh, and the Ship Who Sang by Anne McCaffrey–here’s the opening: ” She was born a thing and as such would be condemned if she failed to pass the encephalograph test required of all newborn babies. There was always the possibility that though the limbs were twisted, the mind was not; that though the ears would hear only dimly, the eyes see vaguely, the mind behind them was receptive and alert.
The electro-encephalogram was entirely favorable, unexpectedly so, and the news was brought to the waiting, grieving parents. There was the final, harsh decision: to give their child euthanasia or permit it to become an encapsulated “brain,” a guiding mechanism in any one of a number of curious professions. As such, their offspring would suffer no pain, live a comfortable existence in a metal shell for several centuries, performing unusual service to Central Worlds.”
…and thus this broken child, Helva, becomes a space ship.

Would you recommend me some good romantic books to the USA or authors of the UK?
I have some good romantic books may contain good script and a happy ending.it would be best if it's comedy, thriller, mystery, fantasy, fiction, historical and gender. And I would happy if you give a brief description of the book with her. Thanks in advance.
You'll love this!: – A Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught. Blurb in the back of the book: "It was called the Wolf. He never lost a battle – he said – no prisoners and eat the flesh of those killed. He was tall, handsome, hair dark and fierce. She was a Scottish heiress, countess own right and had the reputation that it was cold, bitter, ugly old maid. The two were about to be surprised. When she was kidnapped by men of Lobo, discovered that she was beautiful, courageous and totally unpredictable. She cheated, made him the laughing stock of Scotland and English courts, and has led to the fury of his contempt. Where, by royal decree, had to remain united at the altar and form a royal wedding, it was obvious he was going to be a storm and storm … This union is a fantastic love story – When Jennifer, the Scottish woman and her sister are kidnapped, because they are a bargaining chip to use for Scottish go to war they are fighting to ensure that the English victory. The main type in the indictment, Royce Westmoreland is trying to control them, Jennifer, it defies all possible ways, faithful to his family and the Scots. It provides an escape route, but are captured and Royce duty not to let Jennifer out of view – is the most dangerous of the two sisters. He soon discovers that he spends time with her, and begins to fall in love. It is the only person who can make people laugh, and she brings the best of him. You absolutely fall in love with the characters. Tall, dark and robust Royce Westmoreland is impossible to resist, and bold, strong and brave, Jennifer is hilarious. Add to this the time when the novel is set (in 1400), and you have all the chivalry of knights to add to her (including Royce) person. I recommend this book seriously. – Hush, hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. Blurb on the book: "His eyes fell on me and in the corners of his mouth tilted upwards. My heart was beating a groping and in this silence, a sense of darkness seemed to glide like a dark shadow over me. He disappeared in an instant but I'm still looking. Her smile was not friendly. Was a smile that has caused problems. With a promise. "For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. Only Patch arrived. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see her, Nora finds herself attracted to him against his better judgment. But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora can not decides to fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek answers, it is almost a truth that is much more worrying than all the patches makes you feel. By Nora is in the middle of a centuries old battle between immortals and those who have fallen – and the bad choices cost him his life. In this book, you just fall in love with Patch. This is a guy who Whitty is magnificent, arrogant, know it is beautiful and is a total badass. You can not stop laughing at some of the things he says to Nora, as when she asks his name, He said, "Call me patch. I mean. CALL ME. And winks. When Nora has to work over him as his lab partner, is dark and mysterious and tries to avoid questions about his life. There are lots of really funny parts, such as when the patch in the biology laboratory as a partner and the teacher asks how to know if a co-Patch "potential" interested in him. He says things like "his study," said Patch. "I think what she thinks and feels. There comes to them and say, so I have to be careful. T he turned his body to mine? T-that take my eyes, then look the other way? Is it biting lips and playing with your hair, how Nora is doing now? "Laughter rose in the room." He's gone, "said Patch, sticking to my leg. Of all things, I blushed. "Very good very good coach, said with a broad smile to our attention." The blood vessels of the face extension Nora and her skin is warming, "said Patch." She knows she is being evaluated. She likes the attention, but it is not sure how face. "I am not ashamed." This book is hilarious! You'll love the characters! I hope I helped!
